Five of Swords
This card indicates that a disagreement has occurred, and you are leaving something with a feeling of loss or defeat. It advises one to pick their battles; some fights just aren’t worth the cost.
Just Roll It!
You look at the tube with disgust. Crimped at all different junctures, with white residue on the edge of the bottom and sides. You open the cap and see more dried gunk on the lip. What is she doing with the toothpaste? You put a dab of the Colgate Whitening on your soft-bristle toothbrush and ponder saying something as you neatly roll the tube from bottom to top, making sure there is no spillage as you twist the cap back on. You have had this conversation before; she knows how this irritates you. What will it do to bring it up again? It’s been years, it’s clear she cannot be neat and tidy with this. You know if she could, she would. The last time you got into a fight over it, you felt ill at ease for hours. No, better to not say anything. You love her; surely you can look past this minor trespass.
Does this card inspire a story in you? If it does, I want to hear it!
